Confidence and engagement
Patient explanations, encouragement and time to practise can help children feel more confident tackling learning. Where helpful, we also use familiar interests and predictable routines to make getting started easier.
Home tuition
Individual home tuition for children and young people aged 5 and over who need extra support with learning. Your child may need help understanding schoolwork, strengthening English or maths skills, filling gaps in learning or rebuilding confidence. Tuition also supports autistic learners and those with learning disabilities or other additional needs.
Your child does not need complex needs or a diagnosis to benefit. We start with their strengths, interests and current understanding, then agree manageable goals and a pace that suits them.

Individual learning
Patient explanations, encouragement and time to practise can help children feel more confident tackling learning. Where helpful, we also use familiar interests and predictable routines to make getting started easier.
Support can focus on reading, writing, maths, understanding schoolwork and revisiting areas that have felt difficult. We build on what your child already knows. Subject coverage and learning level are discussed and agreed individually.
Learning may include making choices, asking for help, following a meaningful routine or developing everyday skills, alongside agreed educational goals.
How it begins
Share the learner's age, general location, current education arrangements and what you hope tuition will help with. A brief initial message is enough.
We will discuss learning strengths, areas your child finds difficult, schoolwork where useful, and any communication or sensory needs, alongside practical arrangements for working at home.
Before sessions begin, we agree suitability, goals, session length, frequency, fees, adult involvement and a review point. Availability is confirmed directly.
Finding the right support
This page is for enquiries about individual tuition at home. The Home Education Pilot is a separate developing small-group offer for autistic learners aged around 12–16 with social communication differences.
If you are a school or local authority seeking a commissioned placement, please see the referral process so support can be considered within the learner's wider education plan.
Read our tuition terms before booking, including fees, travel, 48-hour cancellation notice, safeguarding and your cancellation rights.
